Corrections to the arithmetic are the most useful message you can send, and they get fixed. Questions about a specific drive set are welcome too.
If you are reporting a number
Include the page, the figure you think is wrong, and what you believe it should be. If it is a capacity question, the drive sizes and the layout are usually enough to settle it, and you can check it yourself first on the RAID capacity calculator.
One category of report comes in constantly and is not a bug: capacity that reads about 9 percent smaller than the label. Drive makers sell decimal terabytes and operating systems report binary tebibytes, so a 20 TB drive correctly shows as 18.19 TiB. The TB against TiB chart has the full conversion.
What we cannot help with
We cannot recover data, diagnose a failing array remotely, or give professional IT or electrical advice. If an array is degraded and holds data you need, stop writing to it and talk to a data recovery service before attempting a rebuild.
